    Marty Keegan is an award winning writer/director who spent seven years working as a road comedian having opened for Jeff Foxworthy, Rosie O'Donnell, Bobcat Goldthwait, Tommy Davidson, Jerry Seinfeld, Wayans Brothers, George Lopez, Arsenio Hall and many others. He is signed to write the screenplay adaptation of Shirley Jackson’s iconic short story “The Lottery.” He has co-written the “Secret Service” with New York Times Washington D.C. columnist Carl Hulse, The true story of William Wood, a James Bond-like character during the civil war who created the Secret Service under President Lincoln. Marty also wrote and is slated to direct the comedy “Celeb.” His film “Has Been” won several film festivals including Best Dramatic Film at the Los Angeles International Short Film Festival. In May his most recent short film VERBOTEN won Hawaii's Bog Island Film Festival as well as the Rainier Independent Film Festival. The film is being honored August 7, 2008 at the opening of the Hollyshorts Festivalat the famous Egyptian Theater.
