Everything! NowLive allows you to broadcast FREE to any member on our site and your own. With your blog community, it takes people a while to respond to your posts and give you feedback, but with NowLive your readers are able to interact with you LIVE on your own broadcast. They're able to chat in your show window, and also call in directy to participate! NowLive members are also able to upload pictures, video and audio, directly from their computers and cell phones for everyone in your show to see.

How come some people and shows are "featured"?
NowLive has 2 categories of shows: "Marquee" shows and "Mini" shows:
- Marquee shows are run by individuals who are already Internet celebrities and have a following at MySpace, YouTube or at their blog site. The Company features these shows at NowLive and provides them with many benefits including a dedicated telephone screener and in-studio support staff. These shows can be run within the NowLive Los Angeles studios or they can be run remotely with the host connecting via a telephone or Skype connection. This is an exclusive, invitation only program. - NowMini shows
(beta) are run by the NowLive community. After an individual signs up at NowLive.com they can start a broadcast by simply calling into a local phone number that the Company provides. The functions and features are the same as the marquis shows,
except the show is completely run by the end user.
How do I become a featured show?
Due to the overwhelming request from individuals to become featured, we have created a set of guidelines:
- You must be a registered member at NowLive.com (http://www.nowlive.com/login.aspx)
- You have to already have started a show at NowLive.com (click the START button on your profile page)
- You must demonstrate an ability to run a show on a consistent basis (daily, weekly, monthly)
- We are looking for shows that have a proven following with traffic ratings that are above a typical broadcast for the category.
- Become active in the community and help us grow NowLive.com

How can people find me on NowLive.com?
All your friends can find you simply by visiting http://www.NowLive.com/[your user name]. Your link will change with you if you ever decide to change your user name.
What is the member's profile page all about?
This is where you START your broadcast and build a detailed biographical, multimedia profile for all other members to explore.
How do I change my account information(ex. e-mail)?
To change your account information, Nickname(User Name), First/Last Name, Location, personal information, e-mail address, show name, show description etc. go to your profile, and click the "Edit Profile" tab.
Can I change my password?
Yes, you are able to change your password at any time by visiting the "Edit Profile" section of your profile. Your password is available in the "Update your Contact Information" section.
Can people see that I'm online?
Yes, when people view your profile, next to your name is your current status. This shows the name of the chat room you are in or displays "online", if you are browsing around the site. You are also able to click the link that says make my status private, if you'd like your whereabouts to be unknown.
Will any of the files shared on NowLive ever get deleted?
No, all files on NowLive remain on our site, unless deemed offensive or inappropriate and deleted by an administrator, or the author removes the file from our network.
How do I delete my NowLive account?
Your account can be de-activated (removed) by going
here. You must be logged in to remove your account.
Can anyone be the host of a show?
Yes, as long as you have a phone and an broadband internet connection you are able to host and moderate your own show.
Is it hard to start a show?
SOOOOOOOOOOO easy! You can start a show in less than 60 seconds from signing up.
All you need is a telephone.
We also suggest that you get a friend to call in when you start your show so you
have someone to talk to before an audience gets a chance to show up.
Yes, in your profile mouse over the Broadcast menu link and select the "Schedule a Broadcast" option. In the calendar that opens, select the broadcast date and time you wish to schedule.
How will people know I’m on the air?
Once you’ve started your show, NowLive’s main page will display that you are on the air. People will then be able to participate in your shows chat and live broadcast. To let people on other sites know your show is live, please read on about promoting your show.
Is there a time limit on how long I can broadcast?
No, once you start your show, you begin broadcasting LIVE and recording a podcast available for download after your show. There is no limit on how long you can broadcast.
To promote a show you can either use your profile, or your show's player. From your profile page, mouse over the Broadcast link and select the "Widget Gallery". There are several podcast and video widget available that will broadcast your show when it's LIVE, or play recorded broadcasts whe it's not. Alternatively, from your Show Player (or anyone's player) you can select the "Embed & Share" button in the bottom left corner. This will allow you to copy a direct link to the broadcast for you to use as you wish.
What is the share button for?
By clicking share(in the show window at the top right) you can post a button anywhere on the net for shows on our network. This button displays when the show you have chosen to share, is on or off the air, and links to the show page of your choice. You are also able to select a direct link to the show page, which you may display in an email.
What content is allowed on my show?
You are welcome to post pictures, videos, and audio clips on your show. Many different formats of pictures and videos are supported on NowLive including embed scripts from media hosting sites.
How do I add crew to my show?
By clicking on the My Friends tab in your profile, you are allowed to select top friends. Starting at 1, you are allowed up to 5 crew members on your show.
How do I start my own show from a phone?
To be able to start your own show, all you must do is go to your profile, and press the click to start a broadcast link. On this page that pops up, you can register the phone number you wish to start a show from. There is a dropdown menu with a series of local numbers to call to start your show. Call in, press 1, and then enter your 4 digit show ID. Now you’ll be LIVE broadcasting to the entire NowLive.com community.
Can I start a show without using a phone?
Yes, NowLive.com offers the use of Google Talk to start your own broadcast. It should be noted by users however, that this service is in beta and no support is offered for them by NowLive.com. This option is available in your profile on the “Start a Show” page.
How do I find a local number to call?
When a show is "on the air" you are able to select the call in button on the show page. By clicking this, your chat screen will change, showing a drop down menu with a list of available numbers in the US. This call in page is also used to cal into user shows from Google Talk.
Can other people call into my show?
Yes, once your show is started, anyone can call into our numbers and hear that your show is on the air. By selecting your show from the menu, and pressing 1 users are able to participate live on your show!
Can I call into a show without using a phone (ie Google Talk)?
Yes, you may use Google Talk methods on all but the marquee shows. To do so, click on the call in button, and after that follow the directions under the "Call in via Google:" section.
I do not want to take calls from unregistered users of NowLive, is this possible?
Yes, normally anyone can call into your show, but by selecting members only next to “Allowed Callers”(on your Start a Show page) only fully registered members of NowLive.com will be able to call into your show.
Can I leave a voicemail for a show?
Yes, by calling into any one of shows on NowLive.com. You have the option to go live on the air, or a leave a voicemail for that show.
Am I able to upload files to a show? What kind?
Yes, when you're in a show. Click the post button in the top right corner of the page and you are welcome to upload pictures, video or audio to any show. The accepted file formats for upload on NowLive.com are JPEG, GIF, BMP, MPEG, MOV, MP4, WMV, AVI, MP3. You may also choose to get the embed script of your favorite video site and upload it to a show through here.
How do I send pictures and video into NowLive from my cell phone?
The best way to submit media from your cell phone is to send multimedia messages (MMS) to [show name]@nowlive.com. For example: First take a picture or video with your phone, then send the picture or video into [show name]@nowlive.com (each show has its own address) and almost instantly, you can view it at the site in the NEW PICS AND VIDS section or click on the LIVE tab and see all the most recent reports coming into NowLive. The subject field in the MMS will be the title of the report, and the body text in the MMS will become a text description (or a caption) for the report.
As a host, you can accept callers to your show by unmuting them. You are also able to hang up on those callers you do not want to take. By clicking on peoples names in the chat room, you are welcome to block them from your chat, ban them from contacting you, and by clicking on posts you are able to delete them if you find something offensive.
