I've been writing since I was about 10- oh, almost 23 years I guess. I have only recently, in the past year or so starting devoting more time to one of my great loves- writing.
What is your current occupation? Do you enjoy it?
Stay at home mom to my 9 yr old stepson and our 5 yr old daughter.

dropped out of high school after my grandfather's death, but got my GED later.

Describe your lifestyle and current relationship status:
Married with two kids and we're doing well.

Do you have any vices (smoking/drinking/etc)? Describe:
I smoke, but I don't drink.

Do you have any "heroes" in your life or your work? Describe:
My grandfather on my mom's side was always larger than life to me. In writing- V.C. Andrews, Tanith Lee, Jane Austen, D.H. Lawrence. The list could go on and on.

What makes you happy? Why?
My kids and hubby, writing, reading, poetry, music.

Something happening to my parents or sister or other relatives, my daughter growing up too fast.

Describe your most "humbling" moment:
Giving birth to my daughter and realizing that it wasn't ever going to just be about "me" anymore.

Do you have favorite type of music? Favorite bands or singers?
all kinds, country, rock, pop, r&b. Favorite bands and singers- Rascal Flatts, Pink, Gwen Stefani, Sara Bareilles, Keith Urban, Robin Thicke, Big and Rich, Montgomery Gentry, etc, etc.

What type of films do you enjoy? Please give some examples:
Comedy, Drama, Action, Scary but not Gory, Old movies- Examples- The Wedding Singer, Steel Magnolias, Stranger Than Fiction, Little Women, Persuasion, Scream trilogy, Underworld, Hellboy, The Notebook, Better Off Dead- etc, etc.

Yes, Heroes, Ugly Betty, Bones, House, Men In Trees, Days of Our Lives, Dr. Phil, American Idol

Do you like to read? If so, what books have you enjoyed recently?
Absolutely- Darkling by Yasmine Galenorn, Red Hawk's Woman by Karen Kay, Untamed Cowboy by Pam Crooks. I'm currently reading The Curse by Maddie James.

some- I'm an Oakland Raiders fan via my husband and I'm from Kentucky, so UK Wildcats.

Do you have any hobbies or other interests? Describe:
Sewing, reading, collecting things with butterflies, Oriental masks, cat trinkets. I like doing gardening as well- flowers and vegetables.

Where are your favorite places? Where would you like to go most?
My hometown most especially since I don't live there anymore. Home. I'd like to go to Ireland or Italy someday.
