With nothing more than a satchel of poetry, the heretofore sophomore from Kansas City, Peter Seume left the University of Kansas. Already a graduate of The American School Of The Hague in The Netherlands, his true passion for music called him West to the bright lights and glitter of Los Angeles.

Five years of combing the Westside music scene for like minded artists of singular talent finally bore fruit. Peter made an instant and magical connection with two former members of The University Of Arizona’s “Hampton Band”. Although originally from the Bay Area, Drummer Ryan Monelli and guitar virtuoso Patrick Brennan specifically had targeted Venice as a conduit to their passions for surfing, skating, and jamming. Enter Dan “The Man Tree” Leugers, who’d honed his pre teen studied guitar skills with the Indiana band “4fit”. Leugers offered a veteran’s stage experience buttressed by a performing arts degree from Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida. The final addition of bass player Dusty Smith completed what began as “The Nameless Band”, but soon became more appropriately titled “HI-Stereo".

For eighteen months the desire to convey their musical innovation was fulfilled in gigs throughout Los Angeles, San Francisco, and culminating in Phoenix, Arizona for the 2008 Super Bowl. As so often occurs however in the turbulent arena of music, Dusty Smith opted out for personal reasons. This four month setback turned gold when Peter found Chris Norris, who had studied music since the age of nine. Norris, an Iowan and formally trained cello player turned bassist, also brought a BA in Fine Arts from Iowa State. In an ironical twist, they had already come full circle. Peter found Norris at the Air Conditioned Supper Club where “The Nameless Band” originally debuted!

This high octane and unique band will soon begin recording their first CD titled “Where The Wild Things Live” through 4th Street Recording Studios in Santa Monica, Ca.
