Fashion photographer Daniel Jenkins began his photography career shooting fashion shows, model portfolios, headshots, editorial shoots and for print advertising. Daniel's passion has been fashion related images. He possesses a unique style that is hot, edgy, and everything rock n' roll.
Daniel takes a personal approach to his business. He believes in building valuable relationships with his clients. He understands the importance of delivering more than just a pretty picture. Daniel understands the job is to communicate a specific message to a predetermined audience in a way that will stand out and get noticeable results. That is what visual communication is all about.
With representation by McGill Studios and established arrangements with commercial photography studios in various major cities, Daniel is always willing to travel, and books assignments worldwide.

That sums it up professionally. Personally. I'm into art, culture, theater, music, hanging out, roadtrips, jumping out of perfectly good airplanes, etc.... I live life to the fullest, put my heart into everything I do, and lay it all out on the table.
I enjoy live music, the company of great friends, life, love, tequila.
recently met someone that inspires me... I follow my heart, I always have.... haven't always made the best decisions, but I have no regrets. I hope not to make the same mistake twice, but occasionally it happens... at the end of the day, i try to be a good person
I have a tendency to play songs over and over and over if they happen to fit a mood i'm in or remind me of someone or sometime... any of the old refreshments songs immediately lifts my mood. songs from shurman reminds me of good times. when i reflect on past relationships, i only remember the positive things. i fall in love hard but won't stay if it's no longer fun. at the same time, i don't give up easily. i know this sounds like a contradiction... i am me, and no one else. i don't try to be anyone else. i feel like a rockstar sometimes. have such a love for life. i quote roger clyne lyrics way too much! (don't i kary?) i quote other lyrics as well. music is such a HUGE part of who i am. i like many different types of music.
i'm thankful for my good memories. i work hard for where i'm at, what i've become, and who i'm trying to be. almost famous is one of my favorite movies.

Photographer. My life so doesn't suck.

Do you have any "heroes" in your life or your work? Describe:
Tony Robbins, Bryant McGill, Bobbi Billard, Chantelle Paige... and on most days, I am secretly my own hero. I'm constantly surprising myself when I realize the true power I have, the true strength, the drive and motivation. I have realized my life's true passion and I'm not stopping. It's either a burning desire to succeed or a glutton for punishment... i haven't figured it out yet. My heroes are also those that take MASSIVE ACTION to pursue their dreams. Those that contribute to the world. Those that just be! My hero is YOU!

Being on stage or on location snapping photos, looking down at the lcd screen and knowing I've got the shot!

People that put someone down just to make themselves look better. Mean people suck!

To be more specific,
my camera: I enjoy capturing those moments...
Good friends: nothing beats the company of good friends.
a guitar... usually i hang out with musicians and there's something about sitting on the beach with a bunch of friends listening to someone sing and play.
beer: the party seems to stop when either we run out of beer or the music stops.
ice: need to keep the beer cold...

Describe your most "humbling" moment:
Out with Scotty Briggs from The Reign Kings sing Karaoke... (i suck) They call my name to sing right after Scotty (he's a pro and the whole bar is like WOW!) I get up and sound terrible! Or after a few shots of tequila, Bran Blush and another friend is playing an acoustic set and Brian starts playing "Mexico" that he co wrote while in the Refreshments... I got up and sang with them... The bartender gave me more tequila to NEVER do that again!
it wasn't as bad as the time a friend of mine (who is also a photographer) stepped on stage to shoot the drummer and unplugged the guitarists amp on the last song of the night... I'M SO GLAD I'M NOT THAT GUY!

Do you have favorite type of music? Favorite bands or singers?
Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers and anything from Roger's previous band "The Refreshments" Shurman, Jenny Tate, Kevin Montgomery and can't forget Gin Blossoms! Scotty Johnson is awesome! Oh, and the Reign Kings! Just don't sing karaoke right after Scotty Briggs...
I enjoy all types of music. I tend to listen mostly to those bands that I work with and have a personal relationship with.

What type of films do you enjoy? Please give some examples:
I like alot of the stuff less mainstream. Indie films.
As far as mainstream... "Almost Famous" The movie about Cameron Crowe's start.

Do you enjoy television? Which programs?
I'll watch "24" online tuesday mornings while I'm working, processing images, that kind of thing. Watched some episodes of "What about Brian" starting to get into it. I don't watch anything while its airing... always too busy.

Do you like to read? If so, what books have you enjoyed recently?
My favorite book "The Alchemist: A Fable About Following Your Dreams" by Paulo Coelho
but I really read alot of books. If I'm not shooting, I'm out "networking", or hanging out with friends. Most of my spare time is spent promoting my career.

Not really.... I'll watch hockey or baseball, or even a football game or too... soccer too. But I'm not obsessed with sports.

I enjoy playing guitar.... I really don't have any musical talent... if I did, I'd be a rockstar!

Where are your favorite places? Where would you like to go most?
My second home is a third world cantina! Love being on the beach... Puerto Penasco, Mexico! (Although you can't surf there) Something about being in mexico, the sand in your toes, a flask of tequila and a six pack of corona or dos X's
I'm always able to find something fun to do wherever i go.
