The female MC hailing from Atlanta has been cranking out hits since the 90's. As a teenager, RASHEEDA was writing rhymes and perfecting her craft, through this she found her niche and is considered one of the sexiest women in Hip Hop today. RASHEEDA started out as a member of the teenage Hip Hop trio "Da Kapperz". When she decided to launch her solo career, she was snatched up by Motown Records and released her solo debut album titled "Dirty South" in 2001. That album contained the dirty south anthem "Do It (Do Da Damn Thing)" with Pastor Troy. Her follow up was 2002's "A Ghetto Dream" released on Atlanta's based D-LO Entertainment label. That album had collaborations w/ Lil Jon and The Eastside Boyz. "Georgia Peach" was her third release and second successful independent album released in 2006. This album showcased sexy side of RASHEEDA and proclaimed her as one of the most talented artist in the game. Her fourth endeavor "Dat Type of Gurl", released in June 2007 has guest appearances from platinum artist BABY and multi-platinum crooner, AKON. That project also contained features from Pastor Troy, The Dream, Jazze Pha, Diamond and Princess of "Crime Mob" & Kandi. RASHEEDA's growth as an artist, a person and a strong independent woman reeked all on this album, dominating the underground Hip Hop scene with her sexy club bangers, "My Bubble Gum", "Touch Ya Toes" and "Type Of Gurl", while creating a national persona like no other female MC. RASHEEDA is ready to fill the void for a well-built female voice that Hip Hop seems to be lacking right now. Her new single titled "Let It Go" coming off her soon to be fifth release set to drop in late 2008, is doing just that. RASHEEDA says, "Let It Go" is a sexy, confident, feel good record. "I knew I had something when I finished this one". "Where Ya Been"...she has no problem speaking about personal experiences as she admits and feels strongly that a lot of women can relate to this record. She has also been working with BET Networks on a new International Hip Hop show that is schedule to air later in 2008. RASHEEDA is currently gearing up for her upcoming domestic and international promotional tour. This sexy Georgia Peach is the picture perfect portrait of grind equals success.
