I'm educated. Have a degree and all that jazz, just not currently using it. Had to quit due to health issues. I miss feeling like a productive member of society but am trying to counteract that with volunteer work when I'm able to.

Do you have any vices (smoking/drinking/etc)? Describe:
vices? What's life without a few vices? I smoke.. don't drink anymore because of the health issues (just makes me sick). I don't have issues with anyone's personal choices, I try not to be judgemental.

My heroes..... everyday people who go out of their way to help others, who are always trying to be the best they can, who live life to the fullest.

Favorite quotes change with my mood and situations...... "It's not having what you want, it's wanting what you've got" ~Sheryl Crow and "Treat others as you want to be treated".... Both of these quotes are how I try to live my life. The first one is a lot harder to do. It's hard not to want more.

What makes you happy? Why?
Simple things... the sun shining, finding a dollar in a jacket I haven't worn for awhile, kids laughing, my garden, being loved unconditionally.....My health issues have limited what I can do daily. I have learned to try and appreciate the small things, to not waste my limited energy on being upset or regrets. /prod_484_16179.gif)

What makes you sad? Why?
child abuse..... kids being neglected or having parents who just don't give a damn.... Kids are precious and they are our future. I see so many who just don't care about anything. It's sad. It makes me sad that their parents have not given them the tools to be great people.

Very eclectic..... Depends on the mood I'm in or want to be in. I love The Cult, Disturbed, Godsmack........ Evanescence, Sheryl Crow, Sade..... Prince, Elton John, The Beatles....... Megadeth, Motley Crue, AC/DC......Gavin DeGraw, 3 Doors Down, Matchbox 20....... Alabama(for sentimental reasons)... so many more.......

I like all kinds of movies...... psychological thrillers like Seven, Fight Club, Silence of the Lambs, Kiss the Girls....... Drama/Romance....... Beaches, The Notebook, Steel Magnolia's..... Just saw Spidey 3 , looking forward to the next Fantastic 4........ I also like erotica......

Do you enjoy television? Which programs?
LOST, Bones, Closer to Home, Law and Order, Heroes... I LOVE Tevo!! I record my fav shows and then watch them during the day while I'm working on a project or just resting. I enjoy spending time with family and would rather watch TV when no one is around.

LOVE to read....... my favorite authors include, Patricia Cornwell, Stephen King, James Patterson, Nora Roberts..... always looking to add new authors to my list! Used bookstores are my favorite!! It's the best way to buy books!

Do you follow sports? Which teams are you interested in?
I like to watch Football, Basketball, Soccer. Don't really follow any teams in particular and I prefer to watch a live game over the TV. The ambiance of a stadium adds so much more to the game.

gardening, camping, I do a lot of arts and crafts and like to make gifts and cards for family and friends. Photography is another interest of mine and I love to scrapbook them.

Where are your favorite places? Where would you like to go most?
I would love to go to England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland and spend a month in each...... would like to take a cruise to Alaska...... see the few of the 50 states I haven't been to yet.... I like being "home" too and work at making it an enjoyable, relaxing place to be.......
