" Being Unstable and Bitchy is All Part of My Mystique "
What is your educational background? Are you currently in school?
High School, Graduate of Chubb/Keystone Institute of Business,

Describe your lifestyle and current relationship status:
I'm at the point in my life right now that I work because I need to pay the bills and, fortunately, my new job helps me do that. But I love nothing better than spending time in my own little phonebooth sized condo with my friends, family, and, of course, Willie the cat from hell. I just about grew up in Brigantine, NJ, with my grandparents, so that is one of the most special places in my heart. I now go to Sea Isle, NJ to my sister's place. This picture backgrown is the view from her porch at sunset. Not bad, huh?

Do you have any vices (smoking/drinking/etc)? Describe:
Absolutely no smoking, although I'm not one of those people who torture people who do smoke. I can't believe this country is trying to make it illegal for people in some states to smoke in their own cars - PUHLEASE. How ridiculous.
|
Do you have any "heroes" in your life or your work? Describe:
My cat, Willie, because he's living the life I'd like to be living. It's Willie's world - I'm just around to pay the bills.
Or it would be have to be my grandfather, Bill Algeo. He was my absolute best friend in my life. I adored him and he'll have one of the biggest pieces of my heart for the rest of my life. I'm in no hurry to die, but knowing that he'll be there as one of the first people greeting me, is one reason I look forward to my last and biggest adventure.

Do you have a favorite quotation? Enter it here:
You don't stop laughing because you're old - you get old because you stop laughing.
|
What makes you sad? Why?
Losing people I love, cruelty to animals,and/or people, having to work full time. That makes me really sad. Sadly, I'm at the point in my life where a lot of people I love have passed and it absolutely breaks my heart. I know that I'll be with them again and I'm happy that they're where they are, but I guess out of selfishness I miss them so much that it hurts.

Name five (5) items you can't live without:
1) Air conditioning (I'm 45, peri-menopausal... need I have say more?)
2) Lint brush
3) Hair color
4) Static Guard
5) Tivo
|
Describe your most "humbling" moment:
Being fired from my job. May be the most painful experience I've ever gone through. I had to admit that people I respected and had shown years of loyalty to weren't the people I thought they were. It was an experience that reverberated through all parts of my life and I'm still working through it. It turned my world upside down, on both a business and personal level. However, I learned a lot from my time there and I wish them all the best.

Do you have favorite type of music? Favorite bands or singers?
I like so many different types of music. I love classic rock, love listening to Stevie Ray Vaughn, Led Zeppelin, Lynryd Skynyrd. But I also love Celtic Woman, Mamas and the Papas, Etta James, Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, and, of course, Dean Martin. I love that man!
|
What type of films do you enjoy? Please give some examples:
Again, so many movies I love. Somewhere in Time, Mommy Dearest, The Bishop's Wife, Imitation of Life, Sixth Sense, The Ring (although it scared the crap out of me), Selena. These are only a few - I could go on and on.
|
Do you enjoy television? Which programs?
I've always loved Roseanne, Mr. Ed (let's face it-that horse rocked!), Alf, Six Feet Under, Cold Case (based in Philly-Yeah!), My Fair Brady, Dancing with the Stars, Medium, Ghost Whisperer, many more
|
Do you like to read? If so, what books have you enjoyed recently?
I absolutely love to read, although I haven't read very much recently Some of my absolutely favorite books are The Witching Hour (probably because the most powerful witch's name was Mary Elizabeth, like me, lol), The Vampire Chronicles, The Undead Series (absolutely hysterical), Stephanie Plum series, John Edward's books, Sylvia Brown, Allison Dubois. So many more
|
Do you follow sports? Which teams are you interested in?
Can't help you too much here. I do not like sports.
|
Do you have any hobbies or other interests? Describe:
I'm pretty darn boring, now that I have to think about it. I was crazy enough in my early years that I've earned the right to slow down now.
|
Where are your favorite places? Where would you like to go most?
Brigantine, NJ, Sea Isle, NJ, Aruba, Hawaii., New Orleans, Charleston, SC, Salem, MA, Sedona, AZ, Grand Canyon, Bahamas. I've been other places and loved all of them, but my goal now is to start seeing Europe, beginning with Donegal, Ireland so I can visit where both of my grandfathers grew up.
