Walking off the ramp of our C-141 Special Operations Airplane in the middle of the Western Iraqi Dessert in complete darkness(New moon) after a two hour ride, flying over 300 miles per hour no more than 100 feet off the ground to avoid radar detection. I looked up and the STARLIGHT illuminated the sky. I was at peace yet the war had just begun....
