I have a variety of interests starting with the great outdoors.
I am a "has been sportsman, i.e. "hunter and fisherman", but gave that all up when my brother was murdered. Just could not hit the woods again...I think most reading this understand. If not, then just say I thought of him every time I shot the rifle or shotgun...He was an avid outdoorsman himself and it was quite a shock to his family. We do miss him.
Anyway, I still love OUTDOORS just in a different perspective. I now enjoy the bird feeders, love the hummingbirds close up eating from the feeders and all the other type birds, esp. my doves!!! I also love the squirrels feeding! And to think I use to "hunt" them...whew! Not sure what to think are you :)?
This year I took up "gardening". I thoroughly enjoy planting and growing the "flowers", not to mention my indoor plants. Guess I got that from my Mom as she was a great gardener. We lost her in April of this year (2007), and I still smile every time one of the flowers bloom!
Wow! Am I rattling!...Before I finish, let me say all my interests are definitely guided in doing the Lord's will...I love the Bible, and I can get absolutely "drunk" on the Holy Spirit that Jesus left to all of us when He departed to the heavens....
And I would be remiss not to say that my son is my number one gift from the Lord...Thank the Lord for both him and his wife!

Currently in recovery state from a sudden illness....Coached on the collegiate, high school, jr. high level for 25+ years...I loved every minute of it and miss the joy and thrill of working with the young men and women who were both on the field of play and in the classrooms...I thank the Lord for the chance to have done so...

Whew...stopped smoking in 2005...and super glad I did...vices? LOL...don't we all?

Yes...my dad, my mom, and without a doubt my son...

Happy? Well....interactions among people and just a good ole' cup of coffee and quiet time...
