Nayseal Basora was born in Williamsburg Brooklyn, NY from a musical family. Her greatest influences Angel Osvaldo Basora who played with Jose Fajardo y sus Estrellas and had an album release titled "Goody Osvaldo Swings" and two cousins, Eric Matos and Ray Feliciano, who played with the well known Willie Colon, Hector Lavoe and Ray Barretto.
As a child she loved all kinds music and loved to sing. She even joined several school choirs and church choirs performing in various places like the world renown Brooklyn Academy of Music. Later she moved with her family to Puerto Rico where she graduated from Isidro A. Sanchez and came back to New York to continue her education. She is responsible for overseeing the marketing and promotion for unsigned artists such as Larry & The Boys as well as Elevated & Beyond.
Nayseal's hobbies are mostly spending time with her family, loved ones and listening to great music. She has a real passion and ear for all genres of music. Whether it's from the past or present, there has never been a favorite in her book. Nay also enjoys writing and blogging and is working on her own memoir.
Coming from a musical family and having a flair for working with artistic and individual minds Nayseal brings to Nay's Cafe 15 years of organizational skills combined with a true passion for music. Her determination and her drive and her willingness to get things done are constantly displayed on a daily basis.

I am happily married with one child.

Do you have any vices (smoking/drinking/etc)? Describe:
Yes I do smoke cigarettes though I smoke a lot less than what I used to it has become incredibly hard for me to quit.

Do you have any "heroes" in your life or your work? Describe:
Yes! My heroes were and always will be my grandparents who taught me the value of NEVER giving up my dreams. My uncle who is my mentor as well as my cousins.

The types of films I enjoy are independant films, foreign films and comedy. I like movies that send a message to their audience.

Though I don't watch much television I do enjoy catching every once in a while programs like Boston Legal, Frasier, Grey's Anatomy and This Week with George Stephanopolous.

Do you like to read? If so, what books have you enjoyed recently?
I love to read when I get the chance. Now I am mostly reading books that have to do with business.

One of my favorite hobbies is surfing the web as well as reading, writing, and listening to good music.

My favorite place to go ofcourse is Puerto Rico though I would love to visit the mother land Spain someday.
