I've been around the block, quite a few times. I've met alot of good people, beautiful people! I have lot's and lot's of stories to tell. I'm kinda cool, if I MUST say so myself. I really hate to say this, but I'm a bit of a bad boy. My jacket sucks! I'm thinking the system had it in for me since the beginning of my better days, thus this far in my life. Check it out though, in a nutshell, they got me "fucked up" either unruly, mistook, ship-shapen, ill-informed, or better yet, conspired lies to persuade a set-plan, to get the rogue, call the general, and pump the haldol.
What is your current occupation? Do you enjoy it?
Nevermind my scene, it's a circle of shit, for shit simply compiled my life for the past 15 years. I've worked my ass off for a good portion of my latter years, installing flooring and I also was a ONE STOP TEchnician, for Broadband/Digital CATV services. If I had to choose a profession, other than showbusiness, I'd definitely open up a New Mexican Bar and Grille, "Don Malo Don's" to commemorate my founding father's who have meant the most to me in all my life. We're Bad to the Bone! Aside from that,
Hollywood, here I come!

What is your educational background? Are you currently in school?
I went to a catholic school, St. Charles Borromeo for 8 yrs of my life. Thereafter, I went to a public high school, West Mesa HS for 3 years. I'm quite an advanced student, althouhg I'm not quite genial. School got boring for me, as I seemed to find a better interest being the "host" of the parties. I got my GED in 1992, and graduated with high scores before my class. Later on, I went to a program sponsored by my dad's company ( he consulted for Paul Allen of Charter Communications ) and Mt.San Antonio College in Walnut, Ca. This was a certification course to get certified for ladder handling, bucket truck, and adnvanced installer training courses, for the "new" thing, then, High Speed Data. This education earned me a lot of good hard earned money, but living life in the "Fast Lane" spent it just as fast. I also have some DuPont Certifications for laminates and cermaic tiling certs. Added to this list, is a certified bartender certificate from the BArtending Academy, and an (almost) Associates in Business from IIA.

Describe your lifestyle and current relationship status:
I'm a very down-to-earth, laid back, industrious and very productive kind of guy. I'm quite creative with my life and try to make everyday beneficial to me. It sounds selfish, but I'm really an extrovert when it comes to this. I love everyone that's in the light and doing good for themselves. Chances are, if they are "GOOD" people, they are also doing good for others as well. Lately though, I've been going through a major transition in my life. I seem to have found myself, and someone else has seem to have found me. It's possessed me to be "High" by my aspirations now, rather than the "dope" or it's "game". It's not of me, like "
Hollywood" is to me. MY life has always consisted of making movies, videos, music and entertainment, thing's of which individual visionaries produce that element, by any means necessary. That's me! Always has been. Always will be. Nobody in this world is more meant to be in the "industry" than me. A list, that's what I see!!

Do you have any vices (smoking/drinking/etc)? Describe:
I do have plenty of vices, but also have a lot to be proud of. I smoke and I drink. But like all my other vices, in the past...sex, drugs, and rock and roll. I grew out of them. I got burned out on them. I'm through with them.My drinking is light now, and as soon as a woman sweeps me off feet that hates the habit, and gives me the ultimatum, Cigs or me? OF course it's gonna be her, if she holds the winning hand!

Do you have any "heroes" in your life or your work? Describe:
Heroes in my life are both my dads, J. Frank Maldonado and Arthur CAmuel Sanchez. Both were equal, and both at opposite ends of the spectrum from one another. One very white, and the other very black. From them they brought forth me, "Libra" in balance. I also, all my life have pursued God and his likeness. From all the rocks I've stumbled on, and all the lessons I've learned, the HARD way, I have only "God" to thank above everyone else. Thanks God! U Rock!!! ( And by the way lord, could you like, uhm hook me up with Bobbi or any of her cohorts, Thanks again God)

Do you have a favorite quotation? Enter it here:

What makes you happy? Why?
Good people, vibrant people, beautiful people, beautiful and spectacular sights ( be it people, women, art, environments ) I also have a nasty taste for the "finest" things in life. That's my VICE. Expensive clothes, toys, good times, and expensive women. So in order for me to be "Happy" again, I think nothing would make me more happier than "top-billing" one day and the payola that comes with it!!!! I deserve it just as much as any one of you, only more!

What makes you sad? Why?
Mean people, hater people, liars, thieves, cheaters, drug-addicts, people who don't help their own people, those who compete with the Joneses, non-believers, non-listeners, greediness, and people who purposely hurt other people or environment. And Terroritsts really make me sad, or mad, probably even covert too. That's a whole other story.

Describe your most "humbling" moment:
MY most humbling moment was when I last lived out in California. That year of 2003, I was at my peak making some good money, DAMN GOOD MONEY to me, and I also was caught up with some major players in the "tweaker" world. They are all good people, but good people with a problem. Dope! Well that lifestyle of partying and spending money like I was Donald Trump and shit got me in lot's of trouble. I came back to Albuquerque, with my tail between my legs, not two cents to rub together, and my truck ran out of gas as soon as I got home. Not only did I have any money, but I lost all my driving priveledges (nationwide), but I also got disrespected the worst here in my hometown. In the dope game and with the clout I once had in that trade, and with all the connections I have in the palm of my hand, my hometown "homies" gave me the worst kick in the ass. Because I'm a good looking guy wtih lot's of streets smarts, ton's of book smarts, hardcore values, and old school charm, they figured they would get me one way or the other. I stood my ground, but what humbled me the most, was losing my dad's. And in the heat of a major turn of events in my "locale", humiliation is an understatement for what I lived with these past 4 years. But the upside is, to each their own, and each and every one of these piece of shits low-life, wanna be gangsters, is that most of them are now doing time, or are dead. That's what life without a prayer leads you.

Do you have favorite type of music? Favorite bands or singers?
I love all this hits...really. I listen to oldies, latin oldies, 60's 70's, 80's,90's shit, mod rock, classic rock, world music, JAZZ, Salsa, New MEX, Tex-Mex, Dance trance shit, and whatever else you all are listening to. I DIG MUSIC.....it's my life next to "Hollywood"

What type of films do you enjoy? Please give some examples:
I've loved movies since I was a twinkle in the eye. My dad raised me on them. So my greatest inspiration has been George Lucas with "Star Wars". I love Sci-Fi, Military-war dramas, ACtions, Thrillers, ( not much into gore no more ) and comedies. I also dig the romantic comedies once in a while, but they are kind of a drag to watch alone. So now I'm refraining from the tube, due to being a littele too busy, but also making my own. I didn't even know I had such an eye, from the wiseguy.

Do you enjoy television? Which programs?
I grew up with game shows. Price is Right. Let's makea Deal. Nowadays, I dig Regis and the View in the mornings, keeping up with Extra, the afternoon court lineups are cool, I LOVE JUDGE JUDY, the news, and an occasional USA program or COURT TV thing my moms always watching that channel. JAY LENO and CONAN and CARSON are cool late nights when up working late.

Do you like to read? If so, what books have you enjoyed recently?
I love to read, but I think I'm gonna be busy reading scripts and learning the ins-and outs in the industry now. Right now is just learning, learning and learning. For a poor chicano from Albuquerque's Westside, that's speaking a lot in itself. I'm pretty much self-taught. I dig anything that I will quench my thirst for.
|
Do you follow sports? Which teams are you interested in?
I grew up a DENVER BRONCOS fan. This is BRONCO Country here. I also love the LAKERS, but haven't kept up on them or the Oakland A's since the early 90's. My dad was a HUGE boxing fan so therefore, so am I. WE LOVE YOU OSCAR DE LA HOYA and JOHNNY TAPIA!!!! Rock on brotha!!
|
Do you have any hobbies or other interests? Describe:
I'm an artist, through and through. I get it from my mom. I love to draw, paint, write, scribble, carve, collect rocks, gardening, construction, computing, magazines, music, people, socializing (online is better and safer for me). But the one hobby I have finally been able to advance in, the "ONE" I have the most passion for is FilmMaking and Video. I LOVE IT and I am so consumed with it now, that I know, THAT I KNOW, I too, will one day get my star on the walk. That was written in the stars for me when I was a little boy.

Where are your favorite places? Where would you like to go most?
Hollywood ( like that's not my second home )lol, Amsterdamn, Greenland, all of EUROPE and Italy. I'd like to see the WORLD to be honest. I love the cultures and lifestyles. I'm fascinated by foreign toungues on women too. I would like to go to Jerusalem and Turin. I'd also like to visit WAshington D.C. and meet the PResident, his two daughters, and get an inside look at CIA Headquarters or the Pentagon. (Please note, I tried to get enlisted 5 times to all five branches of the STAR, and all of them turned me down, except one, the circle around the star)
