Episode 94: The GM Bailout, The Recession, Myspace Mom's Guilty Verdict, and Obama's "Fresh" Approach to Politics
In the ninety-fourth episode, Todd asks panelists LP activist Mike Seebeck and financial expert and libertarian Jessica Pacholski on the GM bailout, the deepening recession of the U.S. economy, the Myspace Mom's guilty verdict, and President-elect Obama's new "fresh" approach to politics.
[*Note: The show started about 10 minutes late, but that's because I was assisting panelist Steve Gresh with calling into the show via the Gizmo Project software. Jim was not on the show tonight; as I found out during the commercial break, I called him up and he said that he thought we were off the air for two weeks. I must have erred when I said that, and It was my fault for not letting him know that the show was still on this week.]

[*Note: Gardner Goldsmith of the Liberty Conspiracy didn't show up for this episode. I think it's because I didn't give him the call-in to him on time; on ther other hand, something may have happened as well, so it might not be his fault entirely.]

Episode 90: The Second Obama-McCain Debate, The Aftermath of the $85 Billion Bailout, and More
Int he nintieth episode, Todd and Jim ask panelists Libertarian congressional candidates Neil Kiernan Stephenson and Republican Liberty Caucus chairman Bill Westmiller about the second Obama-McCain debate and the $85 billion bailout package. The conversation was enlightening and incredible. It was ecstatic!
In the last 10 minutes of the second hour, Jim and I talked about the Maryland State Police placing 53 peace activists on their terrorist watch list, etc. Also, we talked about the complaints from posters from WendyMcElroy.com's forum about how I run the show when I had Wendy McElroy, Karen Kwiatkowski, and Toby Iselin on the show on episode 87. I basically pointed out that, as a host, I have to have some control over the show. I said that I didn't talk over my guests as much as I was accused of doing. For the record, those at that forum who made such a claim -- and you know who you are -- are full of it.
[*Note: Darry W. Perry, the write-in U.S. Candidate on the Libertarian ticket, who was supposed to be the third panelist on the show tonight and was going to call in at 7 p.m. EST, messaged me on Facebook at 7 and told me that he wasn't going to make it because he was held up at the office.]

Episode 89: The Senate and House passing the Economic Bailout Bill and the Palin-Biden Debate
In the eighty-ninth episode, Todd and Jim ask panelists LewRockwell.com writer Daniel Coleman, LP activist Steven Linnabury, and Boston Tea Party Chairman Jim Davidson on the bailout bills passing in the Senate and failed in the House, the Palin-Biden debate, the columns on Palin, etc.. This was a 90-minute discussion on the issues, so I hope you enjoy them.
In the second half of the second hour, Todd and Jim interview LNC At-Large Regional 7 Representative Rachel Hawkridge on the LNC's resolution calling for LNC Rep. Angela Keaton to resign, her views on Angela's actions on the Committee, whether Angela was forcibly removed from the board, etc.
[*Note: Adam Kokesh and Tom Knapp were originally scheduled to appear as panelists on the show. However, Kokesh couldn't do it because of other things going on; Knapp, however, did not respond. Hence, the lackluster line-up we had for this group on this show. The commentaries between me and Jim were outstanding, which made up for the show.]

In the eighty-eighty episode, Todd and Jim asks panelists LP presidential candidate George Phillies, LP activist Lidia Seebeck and her husband Muddy Thoughts blogger Mike Seebeck, and The Liberty Conspiracy talk radio show host Gardner Goldsmith on Gard's firing from WPTL The Pulse, the financial meltdown crisis and the bailouts, Bob Barr's statement on the crisis and his declining presidency, and whether McCain or Obama will win the presidency.
In the second half of the second hour, Todd and Jim talk about the AP News story on six countries agreeing on U.N. sanctions on Iran. Plus, Todd and Jim talk more about the financial and mortgage meltdowns, including clips from Real Time with Maher. All that and more, although the show went over by 16 minutes.
[*Note: Gardner had to leave a few minutes early, because his mother wasn't feeling well. And the panel went six minutes over, but that's fine, because anything goes on LCTL!]

Episode 87: Sarah Palin and her Family, the RAND Corporation, the AIG Bailout, and Obama's Tax Cut Plan
In the eighty-seventh episode, Todd and Jim ask panelists Ifeminists.net writer and WendyMcElroy.com blogger Wendy McElroy, Toby Iselin of Free Minds TV, and reired USAF lieutenant colonel and LewRockwell.com blogger and writer Karen Kwiatkowski about Sarah Palin and her family, the RAND Corporation's findings on whether military force is winning the War on Terrorism, the Fed bailing out the American International Group (AIG) and the collapse of the worldwide financial markets, and Obama's plans to raise taxes on the rich. This is an 86-minute discussion on the issues so enjoy!!!
In the second hour, Todd and Jim talk to LNC At-Large Representative on the Libertarian National Committee's actions against her, her thoughts on the Bob Barr snubbing the Ron Paul third party press conference, and where she sees herself in the future. Will she stay in the LP, will she leave it and join the BTP? Also, Boston Tea Party Chairman Jim Davidson and Libertarian Party presidential candidate George Phillies call into the show and ask some questions to Angela about the recent LNC uproar.
[*Note: Initially, there were connection issues, and, for some reason, independent blogger Adam Kokesh called into the beginning of the show, which told me that he didn't get my response to his email: that he would be moved to next week, since he was originally scheduled to be on this show. Other than that, tonight's show was interesting, thought-provoking, and no-holds-barred. Anything went, and that's the way it is on LCTL!]

In the second half of the second hour, Todd and Jim talk about the AP News of the Day, including Bob Barr and Sarah Palin.
[*Note: Nick Michelewicz had to leave a few minutes before the end of the first hour because he had to co-host Free Talk Live with Mark Edgington while Ian Bernard's out of town. Toby Iselin of FMTV didn't show up for some reason, and he never responded to any of my emails after he sent me one.]

In this special 30-minute episode, Todd and Jim interview Free Talk Live's Ian Bernard and Mark Edgington on topics such as the KGEZ controversy that swept up FTL recently, the recent mock funeral of the Libertarian Party and Bob Barr, the state of the LP, and my disappointment in Mark for voting for Sarah Palin by voting for McCain.
[*Note: This was only a half-hour show, not the two-hour show as I normally do on the air.]
