Well, as you might have figured already my name is David, or as most folks call me, Dave.

    Ask about my userbars!

What is your current occupation? Do you enjoy it?
Well I work as a volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America with an eventual goal of professional Scouting. Been in Scouting for 23 years now so yes, I enjoy it. Beyond that most everything I do is affiliate stuff online. My affiliate sites are down at the bottom of my profile.

What is your educational background? Are you currently in school?
Currently I have my High School Diploma and a significant amount of training with the Boy Scouts of America. I am considering going back to school again for a degree in Management, perhaps a Masters in Non-Profit Management.

Describe your lifestyle and current relationship status:
My lifestyle is my own ;) I have plenty of friends to keep my occupied and most of them enjoy nothing more than trying to "hook me up." They can stop now... really :)

Do you have any vices (smoking/drinking/etc)? Describe:
My only significant vice would be that I smoke, which I'm slowly but surely taking care of...

Do you have any "heroes" in your life or your work? Describe:
The Doctor's of Shriner's Hospital... and most of the patients...Something I'd like to talk about (because it's important to me dangit) is that I was born with club foot in both feet. The doctor's had told my parents that I would never walk. Shriner's Hospital in St Louis examined me, immedeately accepted me (with ZERO cost to my family EVER) and my first surgery was at 2 months old. I stayed in the hospital more often than not until the age of 13, but in the end, I walked. I moved on to obtain my Eagle Scout Award. And even though now I am heading down a rough path because the scar tissue, arthritis, poor circulation, etc are taking their effect on my feet/ankles, and even if, as Shriner's told us when I was released at 14, I am in a wheelchair permanently by the age of 35... by golly it was Shriner's hospital that allowed me to walk... ever. It was because of them I have felt the wind on my face at the top of a mountain that I CLIMBED on MY OWN FEET... so... with that said, I am a FULL supporter of the work of the Shriner's Hospital Healthcare System. Here's a few facts: * In 2005, the 25 Shriner's Hospitals (18 orthapedic, 3 Spinal Cord Injury Rehab, and 4 burn units) approved 37,755 new applications in addition to providing services to 123,385 patients, and provided the following procedures FREE OF CHARGE: o 228,261 Radiological Procedures o 305,455 Outpatient, Outreach, and telemedicine visits. o 67,375 Orthotic & Prosthetic devices applied. o 24,627 Surgical procedures. o 227,857 Occupational Therapy treatments. * If you calculate $100 for each patient's procedures (and you KNOW that ALL of these procedures cost MUCH more than that) then total procedural costs for last year was $21,339,375... * and did I mention Shriner's Hospital was listed as number 1 health-related charity by SmartMoney for 2002-2005? Well thanks for listening... and thanks for supporting Shriner's Hospital & My Cub Scout Pack (PS about 25% of all revenue earned from ANYTHING I make online, all personal and affiliate earnings, go to Shriner's...)

Do you have a favorite quotation? Enter it here:
"When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, "I used everything you gave me."" - Erma Bombeck

    What makes you happy? Why?
    Life, Love and Everything.

    What makes you sad? Why?
Nothing, because there is a positive to everything, it takes only a bit of imagination sometimes to find it.

Name five (5) items you can't live without:
My postiviband, pandora, happiness, my computer, and "the bag."

Where are your favorite places? Where would you like to go most?
