What is your current occupation? Do you enjoy it?
I am currently working as an office production assistant at a small video production company in West LA. I like it, but I'd much rather be on the set, out where the action is. Working in an office is definitely not my favorite thing to do -- but you gotta do what you gotta do, right? This industry is definitely difficult to get into when you're a recent college grad!!!

What is your educational background? Are you currently in school?
I recently graduated from Pepperdine University with a degree in Television/Film Production and an emphasis in Psychology.

Describe your lifestyle and current relationship status:
I currently live with my boyfriend of nearly two years and our cute little dog, Mr. Bloom! I am a big media person, loving movies, TV, music, books, magazines, basically anything containing information! I am like a sponge, I just soak up everything I can!

Do you have any vices (smoking/drinking/etc)? Describe:
Vices. . . well, I guess it depends on what you consider a vice! I could have lots or none depending on your point of view!

Do you have any "heroes" in your life or your work? Describe:
My heroes are my parents for teaching me such great morals and my boyfriend for being so level-headed and helping me to stay grounded. I also idolize John Lennon, Bob Dylan, J.J. Abrams, John Stewart and Stephen Colbert, the list goes on and on!

What makes you happy? Why?
my dog because he is incredibly cute, my boyfriend because he is also incredibly cute, and most of all being proud of my work because nothing is like the rush you get from creating.

What makes you sad? Why?
The state of the world makes me sad - poverty, hunger, disease, oppression -- I just think that we as human beings have so much more potential than we are living up to. Do you have favorite type of music? Favorite bands or singers?
ROCK BABY!!!!! I am a rocker at heart, I don't really like this whole new "hip-hop phenomenon" (although I do like SOME of it very rarely), I stick to rock and folk pretty much. I love old stuff like The Doors, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, etc. . . I also love new stuff like The Killers, Muse, Snow Patrol, Franz Ferdinand, The Fray. . . I like jam bands like Phish and Keller Williams. . . I like lots of things!

What type of films do you enjoy? Please give some examples:
I love movies that make you think -- Charlie Kaufman is my favorite screenwriter because his movies are so complex. Adaptation and Eternal Sunshine were the best ones of his, I think. Tim Burton is my favorite director because he's so great at taking you away to another world that is so complex and pure creation.

LOST, 24, Weeds, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Nip/Tuck, Friends, John Stewart and Stephen Colbert, I love great television, but I HATE crappy television

Do you like to read? If so, what books have you enjoyed recently?
I love to read, I wish I did more of it, but I don't have the time! I love the book "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" by Milan Kundera. . . I really like philosophical books or historical books that teach me something about myself or this life

Do you follow sports? Which teams are you interested in?
I am not a sports fan, I was a swimmer when I was young and watch it on the Olympics sometimes, but other than that, nope!

Do you have any hobbies or other interests? Describe:
Writing -- I really want to be a writer, I am constantly trying to come up with ideas. . . also activism, I like going to protests and trying to get involved with changing the world for the better

Where are your favorite places? Where would you like to go most?
LONDON!!!! I lived there for a year and fell in love with it -- I also really enjoy San Francisco. New York was fun, but too cold for my taste. And of course Colorado, my home-state, because it is so beautiful there in the mountains!
