Despite growing up in a military family and a father who was a drug & alcohol abuse counselor for the Air Force, I was surrounded by drugs and alcohol at an early age primarily via my older sister. I have watched her life deteriorate over the years from losing her job in the Air Force and her divorce to living in motel rooms with three children...and those were the early days. It's a textbook case on what drugs and alcohol addiction can do to your life. Let's chat about addictions: alcohol, smoking, drugs, overeating, gambling, sex, and more. How has your addiction had an impact on your life and the ones you love? How has an addict impacted your life? How can we help each other?

Describe your lifestyle and current relationship status:
I make more then some and less than others. I have spent a lot of money on side businesses that have had little to no return. My addition is being a serial entrepreneur. I suffer the same uncontrollable urges when I come up with a new business idea ...
I've been married 18 years and have two daughters (16 and 11). The marriage has been on and off the rocks but all-in-all it's been a good ride.

Do you have any vices (smoking/drinking/etc)? Describe:
I'm a tequila aficionado. I smoke cigars on occasion.

What makes you happy? Why?
Calmness makes me happy. I have an anger problem when someone is disruptive. Why can't we all just get along?

Do you have favorite type of music? Favorite bands or singers?
I honestly listen to everything. On my iPod right now I have Roberta Flack, The Dixie Chicks, The Three Tenors, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Rush and everything else in between. I absolutely love old school R&B.

What type of films do you enjoy? Please give some examples:
Stupid comedies (Old School, Dodge Ball, etc.) and mysteries.

Do you enjoy television? Which programs?
Perhaps too much: like all other things I like a brorad range from Discovery Channel to Boston Legal. I love The Office and 30 Rock.
